Applies To: All purchases made via www.theansari.shop, WhatsApp orders, and in-store purchases.


1. General Clause of Finality

All sales executed through theANSARI, whether by physical outlet or digital infrastructure, shall be deemed final and non-cancellable once confirmed and dispatched, except under express circumstances enumerated herein. Given the intimate, consumable, and non-reversible nature of fragrance-based products, we adhere to a strict no-return, no-exchange policy, subject to exceptions detailed below.


2. Non-Returnable and Non-Exchangeable Products

Due to hygiene, personal use, and olfactory subjectivity, the following items are strictly non-returnable and non-exchangeable:

  • Opened perfume bottles

  • Unsealed attars or oils

  • Customized gift hampers

  • Items purchased under offer/discount/sale/FOMO campaigns

  • Fragrance disliking or personal olfactory mismatch

🛑 Note: “I didn’t like the smell” or “It’s different than I imagined” are not valid grounds for return or exchange.


3. Acceptable Grounds for Return/Exchange

Returns or exchanges shall only be entertained under the following legally cognizable and documentable conditions:

3.1. Product Tampering or Leakage

  • Significant external damage to the bottle/container upon delivery

  • Evident leakage leading to partial/total product loss

  • Broken seal prior to customer opening

3.2. Incorrect Product Delivered

  • Mismatch between order and actual delivered item

  • Wrong size/volume or fragrance variant

All claims must be supported by unboxing video evidence (unedited, continuous, and timestamped) initiated from parcel opening.


4. Reporting Timeline & Procedure

Any eligible return/exchange request must be raised within 24 hours of receipt of goods. Requests received beyond this timeframe shall be summarily rejected.

To Initiate a Return:

  • Email us at: care@theansari.shop

  • Subject line: “Return/Exchange Request – Order #[Your Order ID]”

  • Attach:

    • Invoice copy

    • Clear photos/videos of the issue

    • Unboxing video (mandatory for leakage/damage claims)

    • Description of the concern


5. Verification & Eligibility Determination

Upon receipt of request:

  • Our team will verify your claim within 3 business days

  • Approval or rejection decision will be communicated via email/WhatsApp

  • Approved requests will be eligible for either:

    • Product replacement (same item only), or

    • Store credit (valid for 30 days)

The Company reserves absolute discretion in approving or rejecting claims based on available evidence.


6. Reverse Pickup & Logistics

Reverse pickups shall only be scheduled:

  • From accessible courier zones

  • For approved cases only

In remote or non-serviceable zones, the customer may be required to self-ship the product securely to the address provided by our support team.

Shipping cost in such cases will be reimbursed up to ₹100 upon valid courier invoice submission.


7. Rejection of Return Claim

Return/exchange requests shall be rejected without remedy if:

  • Product has been used, partially consumed, or damaged after delivery

  • No unboxing video is provided for damage/tampering claims

  • Request is raised after 24 hours from delivery

  • Any attempt of fraudulent, abusive, or repetitive returns is detected

Such attempts may also result in account suspension and blacklisting.


8. Force Majeure Disclaimer

We shall not be held liable for failure or delay in return processing due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to natural calamities, courier strikes, internet outages, legal prohibitions, or public unrest.


9. Modification Clause

theANSARI reserves the unilateral right to revise, modify, or withdraw this Return & Exchange Policy, in part or full, without prior notice. Such revisions shall be deemed effective from the date of publication on the website.
